Kids & Junior

2 days of excursions for families in mind. Together with a professional mountain guide from Aosta Valley, you will learn to track the footprints of the animals that roam around our mountains. Yoga in autumn

Winter is on our doorstep. This is to help your body to rest, recover and regenerate itself before the cold season sets in.

During the yoga sessions (which will be based on the approach of  winter) a particular emphasis will be put on reinforcing the immune system in order to go through the cold winter months feeling healthier, more relaxed and serene.

The lessons organized by VDA Yoga during the weekend of 24th and 25th October are free and will be held at Courmayeur Sport Center, according to the new safety ministerial rules.

"Lo Pan Ner" Celebration

"Lo Pan Ner" celebration is an important event that goes back to many years. On 3rd October, 50 villages around Aosta Valley will switch the village oven on to bake and most of all win the Prizes of the “Best Brown Bread” and “the Best Traditional Sweet Bread”

Courmayeur Mont Blanc joins in the celebration with the participation of the villages of Dolonne and La Saxe that have passed down this bygone tradition over many generations and will supervise the festivities this year. Bakers are up since dawn to knead the dough and then bake the bread for the greatest joy of guests and visitors alike keen on tasting the local delicacies.

Here is how to get to Courmayeur Mont Blanc Cableway:


From Italy, the main routes are the local road Strada Statale 26 della Valle d’Aosta and the highway A5 Turin-Aosta-Courmayeur. For those who come from France, Switzerland and Northern Europe we advise to go through the Mont Blanc tunnel or Gran Saint Bernard Tunnel.


In Courmayeur there is a local public bus service that connects the city of Aosta, the Mont Blanc valley and the major cities in North Italy. For info:


The national airport of Torino Caselle is located 150 km from Courmayeur. Alternatively, it is possible to fly to the international Airport of Milan Malpensa (212 km), of Milan Linate (235 km) or Geneva (106 km).
