Visits to the Bestiarium exhibition, curated by the MAV – Museum of Valdostan Craftsmanship.
On display: real and imaginary creatures through the art of craftsmanship.
The Bestiarium exhibition is a fascinating journey into the animal world, between reality and imagination. Inspired by medieval bestiaries, it tells the deep connection between humans and animals through works by artisans from the past and the present, depicting both real and fantastic creatures. Bestiarium reflects on the everyday relationship between humans and nature in mountain environments and invites visitors today to rediscover, in a poetic way, the animal as an essential part of a shared ecosystem.
The exhibition will be set up in the Sala Dipinti from Tuesday, March 31 to Monday, April 6, with the following opening hours:
