Cave Mont Blanc – Italy’s highest sparkling wine

At the Skyway Monte Bianco Pavillon station, at an altitude of 2,173 metres, Cave Mont Blanc cultivates and processes grapes from Europe’s highest vineyard.

A true high-altitude workshop where the Cuvée des Guides Metodo Classico is produced, dedicated to Alpine tradition and the Mont Blanc Guides.

On 24 and 31 July, visitors will be able to witness the tirage – the process that triggers the second fermentation and the formation of the bubbles – through the addition of the Pied de cuve, a mixture of wine, sugars and selected yeasts.
