Celtica, the renowned festival of Celtic art, culture and music, was founded in 1997 as a dream born from the hearts of a small group of enthusiasts united under the name Clan Mor Arth.
The original aim was ambitious: to bring back to life, in the enchanting setting of the Aosta Valley, the atmosphere of the Celtic era, a people almost forgotten. Guided by this vision, the founders created an event that continues to attract thousands of participants.
Celtica captivates its audience with the infectious rhythm of music, with laughter and joy shared between adults and children. From games to dances, from visits to the craft market to talks and workshops, right through to concerts, the range of activities is rich and varied, allowing every participant to enjoy a unique experience.
The magic of the festival also takes over the heart of the town, with a special programme designed to engage residents and visitors in the streets of the historic centre, which will come alive with roaming music and a concert in the square.
Friday, 3 July
4.30–6.30 pm Street music in the historic centre
5.30–6.15 pm Concert in the square – Jardin de l’Ange
