Clean-Up Tour 2026

A concrete gesture to care for the local area and the environment through a simple yet significant action. On Friday, May 22, 2026, Courmayeur will host a clean-up event open to everyone, an ecological initiative dedicated to waste collection and the enhancement of the landscape. The activity will involve volunteers of all ages, offering a chance to actively contribute to environmental protection and share a moment outdoors. The initiative is organized by the Summit Foundation together with Courmayeur Mont Blanc, aiming to promote a shared, concrete action in favor of the territory.

Meeting point: Parco Bollino – Viale Monte Bianco – Courmayeur
Collection area: Trails surrounding Parco Bollino: La Saxe-Entreves, Strada Larzey-Entreves, Strada del Villair, Plan Gorret, and Gran Ru

EVENT SCHEDULE:
08.45 AM – Meet at Parco Bollino for check-in, briefing, and equipment collection
09.30 AM – Start of the clean-up activity: groups will clean assigned sectors and trails
11.30 AM – 12.00 PM – Return to the meeting point (Parco Bollino) with collected waste; weighing, disposal, group photo, and “unusual object” award ceremony
12.00 PM – 12.30 PM – Snack for all participants
12.30 PM – End of the event

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
– Gloves and bags for waste sorting will be provided on-site; however, please feel free to bring your own personal gloves if you prefer
– For your comfort during the activity, we suggest bringing a water bottle and some snacks
– Mountain-appropriate clothing is highly recommended to be prepared for potential and rapid weather changes
– Summit Foundation and Courmayeur Mont Blanc are not responsible for any accidents that may occur during the day; please remember that the activity takes place in a mountain environment, which requires care and attention.

REGISTRATION:
Registration is open until Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM via the online form by clicking the “Sign up here” button. Please note that a maximum of 80 spots are available. In the event of bad weather, the Clean-Up will be postponed.

CLEAN-UP TOUR:
The Clean-Up Tour is a series of events aimed at preserving the alpine landscape by collecting litter abandoned in mountain resorts. To achieve this, the Summit Foundation collaborates with around thirty partners and destinations, organizing waste collection days across Italy and throughout Switzerland. This partnership has a clear objective: to increase the visibility of these environmental actions and multiply their positive impact on our mountain ecosystems.
