2024

An autumn weekend of thrills and suspense, inviting fans, onlookers and tourists to immerse themselves in a journey through the films that have defined and continue to define the noir genre.

This review will be not only a homage to the great classics, but also a way to explore how noir has evolved over the years, always keeping its timeless appeal alive.

In order to offer insights and contextualise each film, the review will feature a film critic, Emanuele Rauco, selector at the Venice Film Festival and film critic, who will introduce the screenings.

To make the experience even more involving and evocative, AIACE members will participate in the screenings dressed in theme, immersing themselves in the spirit and aesthetics of film noir. This theatrical touch will not only help create a unique atmosphere during the event, but will also invite viewers to actively participate, dressing up in theme if they wish.

Saturday 30 November
h 17 – The Flame of Sin, Billy Wilder 1944 (80th anniversary)
h 21 – The Infernal Quinlan, Orson Welles (65th anniversary)

Sunday 1 December
