Rhémy de Noël 2024

The children of Courmayeur eagerly await Rhémy de Noël, the protagonist of a legend that is intertwined with the village’s link with Mont Blanc. On Christmas Eve night, he comes down to the valley to bring presents to the children, who light a lantern to guide him to their homes. Every year, hundreds of letters arrive in Courmayeur for him, and Rhémy carefully answers each one.

• 3 p.m. Workshop for children.

• 4.00 p.m. Storytelling of Rhémy de Noël, Courmayeur’s Father Christmas, by the Palinodie theatre company, followed by the arrival of Rhémy de Noël and a greedy corner with hot chocolate and biscuits.

• 4.30 p.m. Children with Lé Beuffon de Courmayeur accompany Rhémy de Noël to the Courmayeur Mountain Guides Society for the lighting of the lantern.
