Courmayeur Feeling Mountain

The exhibition that over the course of the year brings to the foot of Mont Blanc the stories and faces of those who – in the past and present – have embodied an ethical vision of the relationship between man and the peaks.
The mountain is told through its protagonists, people who live the dimension of verticality with passion, by profession or by existential choice. Books and testimonies convey the charm of these paths, all different, but united by a common tension towards the limit, the fusion with nature, the ethical approach to the mountains.
In recent years, great and illustrious Italian and international figures have taken to the stages of Courmayeur, recounting their mountaineering exploits and their connection with the mountains: Reinhold Messner, Hans Kammerlander, Manolo, Simone Moro, Antoine Le Menestrel, Marco Camandona, François Cazzanelli, and several Courmayeur icons who wrote the history of mountaineering such as Renzino Cosson and Edmond Joyeusaz.
