Vertical Trail 2026

Pure adrenaline, breathtaking scenery and one of Europe’s most fascinating vertical challenges: the Vertical Trail Courmayeur Mont Blanc is back.

Two races starting from Rue des Forges-Dolonne and finishing in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif.

Friday 24 July | 8.30 pm | VK1000
7 kilometres and 900 metres of elevation gain along the trail leading to the Pavillon refuge, at an altitude of 2,173 metres.
Saturday 25 July | 7.00 am | VK2000
With 2,000 metres of elevation gain spread over 11 km of technical and scenic trails, the route takes athletes from the heart of Courmayeur up to an altitude of 3,466 metres, at the iconic Punta Helbronner, offering a unique view of Mont Blanc.

To make the experience even more extraordinary, participants can use the Skyway Monte Bianco, the spectacular cable car linking Courmayeur to Punta Helbronner, which is perfect for supporters and spectators.
