Feeling Mountain

In the summer of 2020, this formidable duo climbed in 4 days the 4 most symbolic peaks of Aosta Valley: Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc.
Starting from Courmayeur, cycling, walking and climbing walls, they faced 500 kilometers and 16,500 meters of altitude gain: an adventure that they will tell through pictures and a video report.

Antoine le Menestrel

At 5 PM, the French artist will climb the houses in the city center, in a choreographic demonstration of Danse Escalade.
At 9.15 PM he will meet the public at Jardin de l'Ange. As a former high-level sport climber, he participated in the birth of free climbing, and since then he carries on a free and poetic vision of verticality, giving life to a unique and creative universe.

Simone Moro

The alpinist, together with his communication manager Marianna Zanatta, will present his book “Il Team invisibile", focused on the special relation between those who depart in expedition and those who follow them and monitor their trip remotely. For twenty years, they have been joined in a real partnership, which is developed digitally, in cloud: as a team, they learned how to overcome stress, delegate tasks and share, and together they wrote a book in order to tell their story and offer advice.

Manolo

Manolo, stage name of Maurizio Zanolla, will teach to children and teens the rudiments of climbing in the hamlet of Entrelevie, near Dolonne.
In the evening, at 9.15 PM at Jardin de l'Ange, he will meet the public to talk about his career among the peaks and offer his vision on modern climbing, as a leading exponent of this specialty.

Reinhold Messner

Together with the journalist Sandro Filippini, the great South Tyrolean climber will tell the story of Walter Bonatti, unforgettable transgenerational myth of alpinism, through the first projection of the film “Fratelli si diventa. Omaggio a Walter Bonatti, l’uomo del Monte Bianco". A long-distance dialogue between two masters of the mountains, that goes on stage right at the foot of the peak that meant so much to Bonatti, as an Alpine Guide of Courmayeur and as a spectacular alpinist that climbed, among others, the south-west Pilier of Petit Dru, the Grand Capucin peak for the first time ever, as well as the north face of Grand Pilier d'Angle.

IN AUTO

Dall'Italia, le vie principali sono sicuramente la Strada Statale 26 della Valle d’Aosta e l'autostrada A5 Torino-Aosta-Courmayeur. Per chi invece proviene da Francia, Svizzera e Nord Europa, consigliamo di imboccare il Traforo del Monte Bianco o il Traforo del Gran San Bernardo.

IN AUTOBUS

Courmayeur dispone di un servizio pubblico di autobus interno alla località con collegamenti ad Aosta, Valle del Monte Bianco e principali città del Nord Italia. Per info: aosta.arriva.it

IN AEREO

L'aeroporto nazionale di Torino Caselle dista circa 150 km da Courmayeur. In alternativa è possibile scegliere gli aeroporti internazionali di Milano Malpensa (212 km), Milano Linate (235 km) e di Ginevra (106 km).
